At the summit of Fanaråken you will find the highest altitude tourist station in Norway. From the summit you can see all the summits of West-Jotunheimen, the famous Steindalsnosi and the Hurrungane mountain range.This hike is one of the classics for avid hikers. The hike takes around 5-8 hours there and back, and make sure you and your family are in shape to make it.

For this hike it is important to have some experience hiking, and to bring food, good shoes and extra clothing.
